Review by Julia Haynes.
I absolutely loved this book! The characters and plot make a great story full of fun and wonder. Sophie meets a strange boy one day on a school field trip and learns that she is an elf. She is brought to the world of the elves, leaving her family behind to have their memories erased. Sophie is adopted by two elves whose daughter was killed in a fire and is enrolled in a school for elves. Then Sophie finds that she has special powers similar to those of the other elves. However, her powers are different. Some would even kill for them. The only thing I didn't like about this book was how almost all of the male main characters seemed to have a crush on Sophie. If you like love triangles (or rectangles), you'll probably like this book. Fans of "Harry Potter" will definitely enjoy this book the same way I did, and I think people of all ages could read and love this novel. If you like fantasy and humor, this is the book for you!
