Review by Bailey Tomlin.
Footer is very interested in mysteries. Once Footer hears about Mr. Abrams' farm burning down, she and her friends go to solve the mystery. Mr. Abrams gets shot, and his two kids Cissy, and Doc, go missing. Footer's mother is mentally ill and she is constantly gone to a mental hospital. Footer is scared that she is is going to go crazy like her mother because she is having very abnormal flashbacks. Do they solve the mystery? The only way to find out is to read the book!!!

This book is a GBA nominee for 2017. This book is definitely for a person that loves to read books that reach a goal. What I loved about this book is that there was always a question. Not every part of the mystery got solved at one point. The author did a fantastic job on details and descriptions. This book is worth your time reading it!
